So, I just listened to the podcast about JFK...

Some years ago I did my own little search-o-rama on that topic.

I learned some new things listening to your tale of Woah-- but basically, I agree with everything you said, and I remember a lot of those things being in places I looked as well... and just the conjecture part... Yep, lots of weird little things and no-fricken-way things...

If you question the dominant narrative - even when it's full of holes - you're bound to be labeled a "conspiracy theorist." Whereas if you go along to get along, then you're considered a rational (ie. compliant) citizen. Then again, if you call out an actual tinfoil hat nutjob for their crazy beliefs, they'll say you're brainwashed by the powers that be. In other words, it's truly challenging for the independent minded who, quite correctly, do not accept at face value what powerful interests claim, but who also can spot highly irrational bizarro worldviews.
